Sharon K. O'Brien, licensed real estate broker, joined Audrey Edelman & Associates Real Estate with fifteen years of experience in commercial and multi-family property management.

Prior to joining Audrey Edelman & Associates, Sharon was Director, Property Management for Novarr-Mackesey, Inc. Her portfolio comprised commercial buildings as well as apartments and houses serving Cornell University, Ithaca College, and University of Vermont students. She has acted as principal broker for her own firm, Sharon K. O'Brien Real Estate since 1993. Between 1983 and 1990, Sharon was licensed in California where she managed commercial, industrial, and residential properties in the San Francisco Bay area while in the employ of Marcus and Millichap, Inc. She has also managed commercial property in Dallas, Chicago, and Denver.

Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and has furthered her education with courses in real estate development, investment, management, and leasing, landlord/tenant law, environmental liability management, fair housing and others. She is a member of the Ithaca Board of Realtors.

Sharon lives in the woods of Ellis Hollow in a contemporary house designed and built by her husband Bob O'Brien, a principal in the firm of HOLT Architects. Sharon and Bob share their home with their beloved pets, two Standard Poodles. Sharon enjoys walking, reading, and keeping abreast of all aspects of real estate. Sharon and Bob treasure the Ithaca Farmers' Market, cooking together, and traveling.
