Claudia Lagalla, a licensed real estate salesperson with Audrey Edelman RealtyUSA, is the first REALTOR® in Central NY to be awarded two national real estate green designations: the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR's) Green Designation, and the EcoBroker® certification Both of these certification training programs are designed specifically for REALTORS® ensuring designees gain comprehensive knowledge of green homes and issues of sustainability in relation to real estate.

More specifically, Claudia is trained in proactively addressing potential environmental issues such as radon, asbestos, lead, mold and indoor air quality; providing guidance with energy saving home features and sustainable energy options such as solar; understanding "green" home certification programs; and helping clients buy and sell certified properties. In addition, Claudia is equipped to assist her clients with energy efficient financing tools, discussing homeowner grants and incentives, and helping consumers see a property's green potential.

Trading in rides on the subway for hikes over hills and dales, Claudia relocated from her native Queens, NYC to the Finger Lakes several years ago. While in NYC, Claudia spent more than 20 years working in marketing for some of the largest investment banks in the world. In addition to her ability to work with people from all walks of life, Claudia brings a vast array of marketing skills to the real estate industry. Claudia has a B.A. from Alfred University in Political Science as well as a second degree in jewelry design from The Fashion Institute of Technology.
