A native of nearby Vestal, New York, Scott Gruver left Central New York after his high school graduation to become a cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point. As an Army baseball player, Scott earned two varsity letters and helped guide Army to its first Patriot League title in several years. Pursuing a career in baseball, Scott transferred to the University at Buffalo. He graduated cum laude and then enrolled in a master’s degree program in Industrial and Organizational Behavior at the University of New Haven in Connecticut.

Real estate has been an integral aspect of Scott’s life. As a teenager Scott helped his parents renovate apartments and commercial properties, and he has since purchased a few investment properties of his own. He also has several years’ experience as a marketing consultant, so he has an excellent understanding of how the media can be used to market a client’s home to potential buyers.

Scott currently lives in Ithaca with his wife, Jocelyn, and Lucy, their ever-excitable and fun-loving Labrador Retriever. He is happy to have landed in Ithaca and looks forward to helping you find your perfect home or that lucrative investment property.
