Elizabeth Clapp has lived in the Ithaca area for 34 years. She is an Associate Real Estate Broker, and a trained Accredited Buyer Representative. Homes are her interest, and she works in joy helping her clients sell, or buy, their home.

Elizabeth began her real estate career 23 years ago when she and her husband David bought their first income property in the city of Ithaca. She currently manages their 24 apartment units. She has in-depth knowledge of the housing market in and around Ithaca, and has a keen eye with much experience in objective evaluation of potential income properties. Elizabeth has developed cash flow charts to aid clients in their purchasing decisions. In addition to her experience in income properties, she has worked with many first-time home buyers. She knows the ins and outs of government programs available to these clients, as well as having experience with partnering lending institutions. She has taught first time buyers’ courses through Tompkins County Better Housing.

Elizabeth’s experience is coupled with an unfaltering work ethic, and an attention to detail. She is a savvy and persistent negotiator, and her commitment is to honor what works best for her clients.

She and her husband have lived in their home outside of Freeville for 32 years, growing their gardens and their five children. With four of their children scattered around the world, her time outside of real estate is spent working her gardens, volunteering garden work, hiking our local trails, camping, sailing, preserving foods, cooking, and traveling.
